Principal Investigator for the 1.5 million EU ERC Starting Grant project PARA-MOR, which will investigate whether international migrants are living longer in poorer health as compared to the native-born populations of the Nordic Region.
I am also Principal Investigator of the the 360 000 EUR FORTE-funded project "Migrant Mortality Advantage Lost? Emerging Lifespan Inequalities Among Migrants and their Descendants" (2020-2024). This project focuses on the mortality situation of the children of migrants (second-generation) in Sweden.
Winner of the 2022 European Junior Demographer Award.
I am also working on a range of projects with colleagues within and beyond Sweden related to public health, demography, social inequality, and COVID-19.
